Add ZiriCore to your home screen or desktop for a full-screen, app-like experience with faster launches and offline-friendly caching. Pick your platform below.
One-tap install
On supported browsers we'll trigger the install prompt directly. Otherwise, follow the steps for your platform below.
Safari on iOS 16.4 or later
iPhone & iPad
- 1Open ZiriCore in Safari (not Chrome or another browser).
- 2Tap the Share icon in the bottom toolbar.
- 3Scroll and tap 'Add to Home Screen'.
- 4Tap 'Add' in the top-right — the app icon appears on your home screen.
Troubleshooting
- Use Safari — Chrome and other iOS browsers can't install web apps.
- Confirm the URL starts with https://.
- Tap the aA icon and turn off 'Request Desktop Website'.
- If 'Add to Home Screen' is missing, scroll the Share sheet icons to the far right and tap 'More'.
- Disable Private Browsing if it's on — the install option may be hidden.
Chrome, Edge, or Brave
Android
- 1Open ZiriCore in Chrome.
- 2Tap the ⋮ menu in the top-right.
- 3Tap 'Install app' or 'Add to Home screen'.
- 4Confirm — the app opens like a native app from your launcher.
Troubleshooting
- Update Chrome to the latest version from the Play Store.
- Confirm the URL starts with https://.
- If no prompt appears, use the ⋮ menu → 'Install app'.
Desktop Chromium browsers
Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc
- 1Look for the install icon (small screen with a down arrow) at the right edge of the address bar.
- 2Click it, then click 'Install' in the popup.
- 3No icon? Open the ⋮ menu → 'Cast, save & share' or 'Apps' → 'Install ZiriCore'.
- 4The app launches in its own window and appears in your OS app launcher.
Safari 17 or later
Safari (macOS)
- 1Open ZiriCore in Safari.
- 2Choose File → 'Add to Dock…' from the menu bar.
- 3Confirm the name and click 'Add'.
- 4Launch ZiriCore from your Dock or Launchpad.
Not currently supported
Firefox (desktop)
- 1Firefox on desktop doesn't currently support installing web apps.
- 2Open ZiriCore in Chrome, Edge, Brave, or Arc to install.
- 3On mobile, Firefox for Android supports 'Add to Home screen' from the ⋮ menu.
Still stuck?
Make sure you're on the published site (https://) and not the in-editor preview — browsers block installs in previews and iframes. Reload the page after switching browsers.
